my family is planning a WDW trip in May for a week. it will be me (22), my mom, my sister (18) and brothers (17 and 14).

there looks like SO MUCH TO DO. how do you plan on a day-to-day basis, as in where to go each day? when to eat? when to go to the water parks? ive read the past questions on Disneyworld but no help. i want to know how you decide what to do on Day 1, day 2, etc. we would be overwhelmed if we just plopped down when we got there and just winged it.

How do you know where to stay, what parks to plan to visit, the least expensive options, etc.
I don't want to get into a "Vacation Package" and discover that the lodging in poor or there is some hidden restriction that ruins the trip.

We have two boys 9 and 11 and an infant, we are bringing G'ma along to help. What would be the best plan for our trip. We are leaving in May and the boys have never seen the ocean!

While planning my trip, the option of staying at a hotel in the park is more expensive but it gives you an hour before everyone gets there and an hour after everyone leaves to go on rides, and there are probably other benefits too. Or I could stay outside of the park for cheaper. If you've been there, is it a lot better to stay inside the park? Benefits? Worth it? Hotel Recommendations?

My family and I are headed to DW in Oct. I am thinking I would like to stay at either the Floridian or the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Any one stay at either and what's the pluses and minuses. The Floridian is only $300 more, so that's not an issue
Thanks

What s the best travel site for setting a trip like this up? Can someone please explain the park hopper thing? Is it like paying admission for the parks all at once OR does it only allow you to switch parks in one day.
What are some tips for planning a trip to Disney World?
And last, what are some things that I have to do? Like attractions that I shouldn't miss?

I'm gonna be going to DisneyWorld in about a week for a few days. I live in Michigan. What does the weather look like down there? What should I pack for this trip? I heard it can rain a lot too. Tell me: t-shirts or tank tops? capris or shorts? Maybe a light jacket in there?
