I would pack shorts and short sleeve shirts mostly but add a pair or two of pants and a sweatshirt to be safe and then one or days before leaving loom up the forecast from the link I will provide and adjust if it looks cooler.... one bit of advice... 50 in Michigan is really different than 50 here... the humidity/dampness can make it much colder than 50 and same when it is hot the humidity can make 90 feel like 110....
We are getting a cold front through right now...day before yesterday was warm... yesterday rain and cooling... today its still raining a bit and cold.... it might only last a day and then warm up...

Well, I'm a Canadian who lived in Orlando for 9 months between August and May. At this time of the year, when I lived in Orlando, I would be wearing t-shirts, skirts, sandals, stuff like that. As for the rain, when I lived there, the rain was pretty much limited from when I arrived at the end of August through basically to the New Year. After the new year, it didn't rain like it did before, which was pretty much every day off and on during the day. You might want a light jacket if it turns unseasonably warm but that's the most you'll need.

Maitland or Winter Park, definately! They are right next to eachother so I won't go into detail about each one. They are very nice suburban areas with lots to offer. The crime rates are very low as far as I know. I never had a problem while living there. The schools are excellent. Lake Sybelia and Dommerich(possibly Lockhardt and Lakemont) are some of the best in Orange County. Followed by Maitlland, Lockhardt, or Glenridge Middle schools. Maitland is the best and has been an A school for many consecutive years. They have the most to offer with excellent music and athletic programs. The High Schools are Winter Park and Edgewater. Winter Park is an A school with outstanding extra curriculars and Edgewater is a nice C school, almost a B. Shopping is awesome. Altamonte Mall is 5 minutes away, and there is a new publix right in town. More construction is being done for more office buildings and to make the existing ones nicer. They are also 15 minutes away from downtown taking I-4. Other recommended cities closeby: Altamonte Springs Longwood

Hi,
I live over on the East Coast south of the Space Center.
It has gone from 80 one day to 60 the next, sometimes at night it can get down to 40. But remember inside they air condition all year here and when the temperature drops outside it can be even colder inside. You will need at least a sweatshirt or light jacket for the evenings. If you heard about the tornadoes that happened on Friday they were about an hour north of Orlando. It doesn't rain a lot, in fact, we are about 8 inches below normal for rainfall over the last year. But the next week or so should be around 60-75 during the day with chance of afternoon showers (usually after 3pm). I am originally from Vermont and love it here especially this time of year, like late Spring up there.
Enjoy yourself. Joann

The weather can be unpredictable, and its normal for central Florida to have rain in the afternoon, but you could find out the forecast at weather.com. (zip code 32808) So far this winter has been pretty wet. There are lockers available at the parks and I would advise bringing at least a poncho or umbrella to leave in the locker if you should need one. If you don't have one, or don't feel like bringing one, ponchos will be available at the parks. The weather for this time of year is in the mid-60's in the afternoon and should be rising as spring draws closer, so being you're coming from Michican I would think this weather would be quite nice, but keep in mind the wet weather makes it feel cooler than it is. As you wait in lines for rides its normally quite cooler so if you get cold easy it'd probably be a good idea to go with a short sleeve shirt and maybe a hoodie, or light coat. If 65-70 is warm to you go with shorts. As the weather warms in the afternoon you could throw the hoodie or coat in the locker. Without a doubt though, wear comfortable walking shoes. Every time I go I wear cargo shorts and I take a backpack to carry stuff in. You wont be able to take the backpack on the rides but there will be drop off areas before boarding where you can pick them back up after. Cargo shorts or pants are handy for cameras and such and backpacks are handy especially if the weather is off and on rain and you can take a poncho or hoodie or whatever in and out of it as needed without needing to go back and forth to the locker. If the weather is nice enough you can always put the backpack in the locker. If you are fair skinned it'd be a good idea to bring sunblock especially if you burn easy. This time of year, after looking at the forecast, I'd wear to the park pants and a hoodie with a short sleeve 'T' under, and have a pair of shorts in my backpack. If the weather was nice enough, I'd have the shorts to change into. Also, specifically for a female, I'd advise on not wearing white. Every time I go and it rains, there is always someone who has wore white and you know what happens when white clothes become wet. ;-). Have a fun trip and don't forget the camera.

It has been pretty chilly at night time. We had a cold front last week. During the day it is nice out. Bring shorts and maybe a jacket/sweater for nightime to go out. A pair of jeans at night or long pants will help.
Around 50 at night to 70 to 80 degrees during the day.
Have fun and Enjoy!

It has been pretty rainy lately- so you should probably check to see before you go. Also pants/capris and t-shirts are great to pack for clothing, but definitely bring that light jacket because we do have a few chilly days here and there. (and nights)
