It is nice to get your tickets in advance. It is quick and easy and you don't have to waste any of your park time in line.
Also, you have an early savings for buying in advance, it isn't much but it does save a little money.
If you are staying onsite at Disney you can do a package, include the dining and your tickets and you will save even more money because they always have promotions.
The only way to save any more money is to do a timeshare tour. But, they don't always give you tickets and it can be a little bit of a pain to get out of. Personally, I would rather just pay.
But I would definitely buy the tickets before you go. Depending on when you are going, you may have to do a "will call" to avoid express shipping charges.
Have a great time in Disney!

We bought them over here so that everything was already sorted when we arrived...
When we booked the woman in the travel agents went through each park, told us what they were all about, explained the offers and then worked out the cheapest way to get to them all! It was fab! Then when we got to Florida we had nothing at all to worry about!
On the other hand though, when we got over there, it was possible to simply purchase tickets on the gates etc. but I'm not sure that then you're getting full advantage of any offers...
Hope this helps...
p.s. Wow, I'm jealous! Disney is the most fantastic place I've ever been to in my life! You'll have an amazing time :) xx

defimnately buy them here, saves a lot of hassle and expense. I would recommend disney's ultimate tickets, they are definately worth the money. We got ours from teletext.com and the were very reasonable. I would def go with a recognised company, coz some will rip you off and your tickets may never appear! You'll have an amazing time. I'm very jealous!

If staying in a villa i strongly recommend that you purchase them from the people who look after it for the owners. My family and i went last year and got a flexi pass and that covers access to five parks. i think it cost around $200 per ticket but it is well worth it !!! If staying at hotel i would definitely get them before going as the complexes need to make a profit and usually charge way too much. Hope you enjoy your holiday !!!!

buying tickets at your local Disney store is a great idea. It is an expense you have aready covered before travelling. When you get to your first park you are ready to roll. Buy from Disney or a reputable travel agent. Disney tix are non-transferable.

Buy your tickets on the Internet at http://www.waltdisneyworld.com because if you wait until you get to Disney World then you will have to stand in long ticket lines at the parks.

hi,
i went to disney 2 years ago and bought my tickets before i got there and glad that i did. i didn't have to stand in line (it was hot)and i got it at a cheaper price compared to what i would've had to pay there. i recommend you go on ebay to check out the tickets as well.
only thing is that you don't want to forget to bring your tickets.
hope this helps,
have fun!
ps: might want to bring an umbrella. florida can be nice and sunny one minute, then a sudden downpour the next--not funny.

I would recommend getting them over here so when you go to the parks, your straight in there instead of having to queue to purchase them. Plus you can get some great deals in the UK. We've just purchased ours from www.tickets4fun.com which was recommended by the Brits guide to Orlando and we got a great deal and the tickets came withing 7 days.
