Depends on your prefrence...Island of Adventure- for the kids at heart, rollarcoasters, and MAJOR themes. (Jurassic Park, Dr. Doomsfall (gravity drop ride), the HULK (spits you out at a huge force), ect) and Universal is for the type that like to see movies and watch things...Like ride in a boat for the attraction Jaws, sit in the subway for the ride Earthquake, watch a movie, ect. Really cool though. When I went last April, for $9 more, you can purchase a two park pass..you can go from park to park...so go online view the maps...pick out your rides...and write them down. Then when you get there-you will know right away what rides and order you want to go on and when...then look online for that two park pass.

Both are great parks. If you have the time, you really should look into getting a multi-day ticket. Universal gives huge price breaks on tickets all the time, you can get them for next to nothing.

If you just don't have the time to do both parks, then it depends a little on what you are looking for in the better park. In my opinion Islands of Adventures is best for anyone that is a little older, i.e. 13 or so and up, or the thrill seeker. Someone with younger kids or that just prefers more easy going rides will probably enjoy Universal a little more.

But really, they are both really great parks, the best thing to do is look at Universals site to see what rides are at each and which has the most that you like.

Have a great time!

I prefer Islands to Universal. Its easy to spend less than half a day at Universal - but you can definitely get a days worth of fun at Islands of Adventure! Be sure to go on the Dueling Dragons (my favorite coaster) and the Hulk!
Have fun!

It depends on what you like more. If you love rollercoasters and are a thrill seeker, Islands of Adventure will be your favorite. If you like shows more, special effects, with fewer thrill rides, you will like Universal Studios more.

difficult call. generic has much better style that each and each body can savour jointly. Islands of journey has the better effective thrill rides, yet your small little ones can not savour them. Islands also purely has really one position for the smallest youngsters (the Dr. Seuss land), and at the same time as that is lovable, it really is not very tremendous in any respect. regardless of the indisputable fact that, Islands does have the nonetheless-new Harry Potter area, which once you've any followers on your team, that is a ought to-see for them. again, it is also very small. there is purely one new journey in it, and a couple of re-themed rides, plus a pair lovable shops. generic is better generic with better to do, plus there are better issues that small youngsters can do and adults may also savour with them. there are a range of shows to confirm, yet in case you at the instantaneous are not contained in the mood for shows, there continues to be adequate to occupy you for an finished day. in preserving with at the same time as in ought to, you ought to guage getting the bypass the position you may flow to both parks. you ought to get to Islands first element and do the highlights, then flow to generic Studios and do the highlights interior a similar day. you may not do each thing, yet you ought to do the major points of interest.
