I wanna take my girl to the city this Saturday, But i dunno NY too well. I need to know some good places to take her. What are some noteworthy areas to take her to? I wanna it to be a laid back day where we can move at a nice easy pace and not have to rush around.

Thanks alot.

We don't drink or smoke..so preferably any spots that don't include bars and stuff like that. And I'm from NJ so anything from NY is different from what I normally do, so just recommend anything...it can be simple too. But it needs to have a "few" things to do in that general area so we don't have to rush around.

alright...i really want to study film at NYU this summer and im waiting desperately to hear back from them whether or not i am accepted. if i am...i will be sooo happy...but I need to know a good estimate on how much a taxi would be from Languardia Airport to NYU which is at Washington Square Park. Anyone? would it be cheaper to fly to JFK and get a taxi there? i will love you forever if you know and could tell me.

I want to be in the middle of it all, near most attractions like Central Park and Times Square. I am on a slim budget and only staying one night, two days. Any suggestions?

I am really trying my luck here to see if anyone happens to be familiar with the following two places:

I want to find out how long is the commuting time between the two places:

Address A: 528 RIVERSIDE DR, Manhattan, New York City
Address B: 258 PARK AVE, Manhattan, New York City, near the Grand Central Terminal Station.

The following computer generated routes gives an estimate of about 44 minutes, and some wise men advised me that I should add 10 minutes or more to it just to be safe.

http://www.hopstop.com/?advanced=y&mode_switched=y&submitted=on&city1=newyork&city2=newyork&county1=36061&address1=528%20RIVERSIDE%20DR&county2=36061&address2=258%20PARK%20AVE&day=1&time=28800&mode=s&language=en&transfer_priority=1

So I am guessing it will be 1 hour.

I need your opinion ... What do you think is the estimated commuting time?

Thanks a lot!
