I heard that there are 207 ethnic groups in New York City.
I've been there and I don't think it's hard to believe.
There's about 167 Countries in the United Nations, which has it's coference buildings in New York City.

Nobody knows. Everyone just automatically assumes that there has to be at least one from every ethnic group in the world.
I guess the real answer would depend upon how many subgroups you wanted to break down each ethnic group into. At some point you would have zero representatives.

As for ethnicity's in New York City the're people here from every ethnic back ground you could imagine. Have fun counting them all.
