I will be attending a week long competition and was trying to figure out if it was hot or cold. I went to Orlando last May and it was very hot.

It will be very nice and certainly not hot. Mild days and maybe take a coat as it could get cool at night, but not cold. Enjoy!

The best month to be in New York is September, and May would be the my second choice. Warm, not hot, days and cool nights. It is slightly more humid than in September, and late May cab get a little uncomfortable (mid 80's).

The weather will be great, warm days (70's) and cool nights (60's). It will not be cold and it could even be warmer if you catch a warm spell. Also rain will be at a minimum.

May is a nice time to visit NYC-bring a light jacket just in case.
