what's the best way to get from jfk airport to time square? im thinking about either taking a subway or taking the shuttlebus? do you know how long they take and how much they cost? which one do you think will be faster? does the buses cross the broklyn bridge by the way?

I've never been to New York City, but I've read a little about the subway system because I like trains. From what I've read, the current system is horrendously inadequate but the only talk of upgrading is the 2nd Ave line. I welcome any comments about the size, capacity, utilization, and so on about the subway system.

I have an aunt and cousins visiting NY soon from the Philippines. And she insisted that we go see the Niagara Falls on US border. I know.. I know... From hot to COLD. Sighs! I tried to discourage her but she owns a business and it peaks in the summer so here it goes. Anyway, from LGA.. which airport do we land to see the Falls? I came to London at the age of 11 and I am consedering moving from London to New York. It is boring in London because there is no night life at all, everyone is inside and most shops close at 5 pm, sometimes 7pm. There is high crime rate in UK because at night nobody is out expext criminals....Does New York have night life and is it also lively 24/7???
