Im trying to find inexpensive tickets to see Lion King in Jan.
Anyone know a good site? Why are tix so expensive???

That's one that is hard to find cheap tickets for because it is so popular, it's never at the tkts booth when I go Call box office, many shows have a lottery for certain tickets an hour or two before.

Lion King is the best show on Broadway - so tickets are bound to be expensive. Your best bet is to stand in line at the TKTS counter on the day of the show and get last minute deals.
Though you'd be taking a chance; you may not get the tickets.

I don't know where to find inexpensive tickets - but I can tell you that the tickets are expensive because the show is SO GOOD. We just saw it on Friday 12/8/06 and it was awesome, plus the view from the theater of Times Square is incredible. I couldn't imagine how the show would be - but it far exceeded my expectations. I hope you enjoy!!!

tickets are so expensive b/c your not buying in advance. Also it's a broadway show, and there is a lot of demand for it, but only so many seats.
Try going to the Tkts places, there is one in times square, and they are cheaper there. Get there early so you dont have to wait online
