We're planning a trip to disneyland in June for 6 people. Are there any places you recommend near disneyland because we are probably going to walk. No entertainment in hotel/motel necessary. Just the basics.

Hi, me and my family are going to Los Angeles this summer, and I convinced them b/c I'm a big fan of hollywood, movies, theme parks and all, but they told me I have to come up with a list of places to visit so we can make like a schedule, and to be honest, i don't know which places I should visit. Please somebody recommend me places to visit or activities to do, like the chinese theatre, beverly hills, etc...

I have a good feeling that I may have the career opportunity to participate in a professional music workshop in Los Angeles for 4 weeks come July this year. I can't pass this up, but the problem is that I live in NJ and I work a 9 to 5. Although the 9 to 5 is a contracting job, not permanent.

I don't know anyone off hand in Los Angeles or the Orange County area that I could stay with. I would fly out there, and take public transportation to and from the workshop everyday.

I'm wondering if anyone might have any ideas of what type of temporary living options are there to live in LA for 4 weeks, for as cheap as possible? Just have to eat, sleep, and stay safe. And by the way, I'm not rich by any means, so if anyone might know of any type of public or federal stipend I might be able to apply for something like this, it would be a HUGE help!!!!!

In LA for a week next month and wouldn't mind seeing San Francisco. Only want to go for a day so anyone know the best way? Are there any cheap flights as driving is obviously too long for just a day?

im moving from wichita, kansas to culver city, ca late this summer because i will be attending west lost angeles college for fall/winter semester of 07. i work at a walgreens as a pharmacy technician and i get paid 8.5/hr without being certified yet but when i am its 9.5/hr - 10/hr...i was wondering if i were to transfer from walgreens kansas to one in culver city or la..how much would i get pay per hour knwing that walgreens in california has a hiring minimum wage??

I am thinking of something in the Santa Monica area. Is this a safe place with lots of ammenities? How much would a 2 bedroom apartment be to rent per month?

Are there any other areas you would recommend? I want to stay away from gangs/violence and although I will have a car, would also like to be able to walk places.
