This is a regular public high school. You must life in their area to attend. They do have a program for very high achieving youngsters but you have to show test scores to get into that program.
The area is not great and there are plenty of gang members in the school. However, the school is known to have good academics.

It is what we call a High School in the U.S., you might call it a lycee....It is in San Fernando Valley and has students from North Hollywood and several other adjoining areas......its forte is in fact its French language program. It has a "highly gifted magnet french program"......Attendence is based on residential address but there are many internally selective programs in a variety of studies...the school is open year round....It's a very good school.....
