This is my first time and I wanted to know a good place for zip lining near my area. I live near the Los Angeles area.

I was told by someone recently that it is a really cool lake in the local mountains. Does anybody know anything about that lake? And how does it compare to other local lakes. Or are there even nicer ones you can go to. I just wanted to go to a cool place in nature that is very local and has a nice lake where you can go swimming at. Would that be a good choice?

Hi, I am relocating to California, and am wondering what is the most common area/neighborhood in California for average families to live?? I enjoy the views from there and like to get away from the busy life. But I have actually seen coyotes there, and was also warned about mountain lions and rattle snakes. I was thinking about going hiking there at night time and look at the stars in the middle of the night. But now I kind of wonder how safe that really is. Also, you don't really seem to have cell-phone reception there. That especially accounts for the northern site of the valley. So does that mean I would never be able to spend a night a little away from the valley of Los Angeles and be safe?

Don't get me wrong, I love Los Angeles. But the city life and smog sometimes burns me out and I need nature to refresh me.

i just moved to the northern site of the valley in the los angeles and am stunned to sometimes see coyotes walking around in the streets in the middle of the night. I love nature and was thinking of may be going to o'melveny park in the middle of the night to avoid the heat during the day. You supposedly have nice views from all the way up there. But now that I see coyotes I am not so sure. My girlfriend tells me I can still do that since they don't do anything. I don't have to worry about rattle snakes and mountain lions either she says, since mountain lions don't even exist anymore and rattle snakes mind their own business. But recently I talked to a neighbor of mine and she told me that a coyote killed her dog once, and that was in her yard. So now I'm not sure.

I am arriving in LAX from Australia . I want to know there are any companies that do transfers by bus/rail between either LAX and San Diego or LAX and Las Vegas. This is to save wasting staying overnight in the LA area when I would prefer to start my holiday in Las Vegas or San Diego. Likewise for at the end.
