I go to Vegas all the time. Based on Caltrans or CHP sources when would be the best time to leave for Vegas on a Friday night? And, when would be the best time to leave Vegas for Covina on Sunday to avoid traffic. I notice leaving Vegas on a Sunday between 3-6 P.M. really sucks. Also, leaving S. Cali Friday from 5-7 P.M. sucks too. I would like to see if CHP or Caltrans can give a time when traffic is heaviest on Friday to Vegas and Sunday coming home from Vegas.

My friend and I are planning a road trip to Las Vegas. While it is not that far from California to Sin City, it would still be nice to have some music to listen to as we cruise on up there in my convertible. Does anyone have any good suggestions of fun road trip or Las Vegas themed songs? Viva Las Vegas by Elvis is a given… I need something a little more… creative… help me out here…

Does anyone know what would be a good website for two people to purchase a Las Vegas package when they are traveling from two different cities to meet there? I go there once in a while and prefer to use the "package deal" for air and hotel, this always seems like the best deal and you usually get some extras thrown in. I had always just bought it as it was two people traveling at the same time/from same place (you have to pay for two to get the best deal). Will it work if two people are coming from different cities and where would be the best place to check?

We're going to be in Las Vegas for four days. I'd love to see Bryce Canyon, but we don't want to drive. This tour sounds really nice, has anyone tried it?

Is it better to purchase in advance online or to wait until I arrive? Who should I buy from? The venue or a ticket broker?

Has anyone ever heard of Tahita Village? I believe it is a timeshare, they are offering a 4dy/3 nt stay in vegas at a 4 star hotel on the strip, with a $200 slot play, $100 gas card, renewal of wedding vows. They say all they want is $99, and once we get to the hotel then they are gonna refund the $99. Is this legit? Has anyone ever done this before... please let me know.. it sounds like such an awesome deal, but I don't wanna get screwed.

NASA's Voyager 2 probe encountered the planet Uranus in 1986 and one of its moons, which features an enormous cliff with a vertical relief of about 12 miles (10 times higher than the walls of the Grand Canyon on Earth). What is the name of this small moon that has the highest cliffs in the solar system?

I stayed at a Vegas hotel over the weekend with a couple of friends. We're medium level gamblers and built up a decent size comp. We ate and drank at this casino and billed them to our room. When we checked out, we talked to the casino host to comped out our stay. He used all our comp points and said everything - food, drinks, room - is taking care of. Soon after I returned home from Vegas, I checked my credit card and saw $400 in hotel charges. After days of tracking the appropriate people down, the host denied ever comping our room, but only our food and beverage. He said there's nothing he or I can do about it, and it was simply a miscommuncation on OUR part. He gave me his director's number but said that he won't be able to help us either. Did I get screwed by the casino???

I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks and would like to see one or two of the big shows, but I really don't want to spend almost $100 a ticket. Anybody know of a website or place in town where discounted tickets are available?

I (and a friend of mine.. She's 25, damn her! lol) am going to Vegas in October for a Placebo concert at the HOB.. From what I'm seeing, there aren't many "clubs" or whatever for someone under 18... Is there anything else that I could check out? For the most part, I'll just be there a night or two at the most, but still.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
