I'm looking for lower limit betting in Las Vegas, specifically blackjack! Anything in town for $5 or under??? (I've heard rumors of $2 but don't know where to find that...) Hopefully someone can help me out!

Table game minimums depend on how many people are gambling, or WHO is gambling. When we go, they usually open a table for us and set the minmum at $500 per hand because we do not like gambling with people "that play carelessly"...when you have $500 at stake, you arent going to hit again and bust, or double down... if the casino is full of high rollers, there will not be any low tables. I have seen low minimums at the older casinos...usually between 3 and 6am on the weekdays (M-Th). Do not plan on anything less than a $25 minimum on the weekend at any of the high end hotels (Venitian, Bellagio, Wynn, Mandalay Bay) At Bellagio, the weekend after New Years, we were looking for a cheap table to teach my friend how to play cards, cause he had never played. We ended up finding a $50 a hand table on a Saturday night, and we waited about an hour to get a spot. Later we went over to the dumpy hotel next to Ballys called Barbary Coast? And found $15 a hand Black Jack.

The bottom line is go to an older casino, and go SUPER late..2am or later on a weekday and you will find those minimums. Good luck!

Thats really up to you. These questions gets asked in here all the time, but the problem is everyone is different. If you smart with it, you can gamble with 100$ and have a great time. I remember on one trip top Vegas I turned 50$ into 900$ in 2 days. So you just never know what will happen. If I can give you a word of advice though, if you are on a budget avoid the clubs. They are the biggest ripoff. Its all about image and throwing money around to look flashy. I am not saying there is anything wrong with that from time to time, but if money is actually important to you, try thre bars on the strip.. not clubs.

You would need to go dowtown. Even most the Downtown hotels are at a 5 dollar min. I would check Binions or Fremont, I have heard of them having 2 $ mins. You wont find anything on the strip even close to that unless they are doing some kind of special promotion or tournament . I thing the Imperial Palace has the lowest limits on the strip on the major hotels. There is some Irish named casino right near the flamingo, I cant remeber the name but I know they have low limits also. But for 2 dollar action you will need to look around downtown to find that. Stay away from the Golden Nugget, they are like the strip casinos.

You can find low limit tables anywhere except for the high end boutique casinos. Downtown has probably the lowest limits starting at $2 per hand or bet. Some casinos will lower their limits based upon foot traffic and time of day or during holidays. Just search around or ask the pit bosses. They will be glad to assist.

There are low-level tables, to be sure. I didn't gamble the last time I was there, so I can't direct you to anywhere specific, but rest assured, it shouldn't be hard to find more than enough places in any casino you go to.

Try downtown Fremont Street...always lower table limits and higher payouts and the properties are close together, so you can easily check out options.
If it HAS to be on the Strip, try Casino Royale....mid-strip next to the Venetian. I wouldn't call the place classy, but they have low table limits.

Low limit tables are more prevalant during the daytime I've found. I've played low limit Blackjack and Roulette at NYNY and low-limit Blackjack at Luxor.

You really have to hunt for them though - be patient and take your time wandering thru the casino to find one.

Check out the Longhorn on boulder hwy , they used to have a good game and once even let a player double down after a hit. I hope it's still there.
