Hotels in general will take anyone's money.

If booking online through sites like travelocity or expedia, your credit card is typically charged right away for that. For finding the cheapest rate-shop around. Find out what the hotel is charging on their website and compare that to the sellers like travelocity, orbitz, hotels.com, etc....

Depending on how much your doing for your sister, the next step may be to call the hotel. Once your at the hotel, they'll ask for a credit card to keep on file for incidentals (phone calls, room service, etc) if you want to cover this as well, you'll have to contact the hotel direct, typically they'll have you fill out a form that states exactly what can be charged to the given cc, i think most hotels will allow you to set limits as well.... And if you tell them it's for honeymooners, i'm sure they'll go out of their way to help, maybe even leave a gift in the room for them!

Check the site visitlasvegas.com - then call the hotel of your choice and tell them of the gift - but be sure to tell them it's your sisters honeymoon and they will most likely upgrade a room for no extra charge - if they don't upgrade at the time of booking be sure to have your sis mention it's their honeymoon when they check in. They aim to please because of all the competition. Wish I knew what your budget is as I go to Vegas every couple of months and know all of the hotels - if you can place another question and mention what you can afford and I will respond....Good luck - you sound like a very nice person!

Most Travel internet sites, Expedia, Hotels.com adn the like have contracts with most hotels wher eyou will pay the site for the room as they have already paid for it.

ALL hotels will require a credit card to hold the room when the guests check in, so you can pay for the room itself but the hotel will still collect for incidentals.

I do this all day long.
I would love to take care of this trip for you.

I can get you something nice for under $300.00 per person including hotel & airfare, and transfer if you hurry.

Contact hotels directly for rates and tell them what you want to do. Tell them you wish to book a gift trip and pay for it yourself. They like customers and should be willing to help.
