Has anyone ever heard of Tahita Village? I believe it is a timeshare, they are offering a 4dy/3 nt stay in vegas at a 4 star hotel on the strip, with a $200 slot play, $100 gas card, renewal of wedding vows. They say all they want is $99, and once we get to the hotel then they are gonna refund the $99. Is this legit? Has anyone ever done this before... please let me know.. it sounds like such an awesome deal, but I don't wanna get screwed.

Yeah, Tahiti Village is a timeshare out passed Mandalay Bay. It's pretty nice, but really, really expensive to purchase one. I haven't heard of the offer they are giving you, but if you had a friend that purchased one of the timeshares, they might have given Tahiti Village your name. All the timeshare places will offer people freebies to get them top come look at their product. Don't buy one of these timeshares, but if you have some time to spare, it's fun to go look at them. We were there in May and went to both Tahiti Village and the Marriott Grand Chateau across from Aladdin on Harmon. The Grand Chateau is a much better buy if you want a timeshare (we purchased one for half the price of the one at Tahati Village.) With the economy hurting right now, they are really trying to make some deals.

I'd try to get a phone number and check it out before you give them a credit card, but I have heard of the place and know they are a legitimate timeshare.

To best answer your question, I would say that statistics wil show the average person needs only spend 13 a day to cover the overhead for them to break even!!They are willing to gamble that ou will far exceed that amout , and most people shall do just that.
Therefore my advise to you is simple > ask them to knock off the $ 99.00 from your gas card or betting allotmentof 200.00 (that sould allow you to quickly find out if they will intend to further gamble?????? remember the salesman on the phone (If a Telemarketer gets his pay from this so be aware that some very astute people will be trying to take you and the shirrt you ware to the cleaners.
If 99.00 is all it costs you then save your money and get online and reequest from the casino's each one, various (COMP'S. They inturn will forward to you all kinds of savings for food and drinks and cashin certificates for gambling purpuses that will far exceed the money that has been offered you. certainly you should expect to pay for some items.
Foremost ask yourself first Why do you want to go to Vegas, If it is really something you wanted to do , JUST GO and enjoy this
If you cant afford the trip then I suggest you save until you can.
Not many ppeople are LUCKY to win, But some do So to sum up the answer, Enjoy life and family and all things you do, It is a short stay in this world save and splurge and be satisfied , Never allow yourself to spend more than you can afford.

You know what they say about too good to be true right?
Well this indeed sounds like it falls under that category. I havnt heard of this particular company but I have heard of a few where they sucker you in on a base price then sock you with the "extras" so choose wisely and use your commen sense. Dont ever give them your credit card number no matter how legit they sound. Go to a travel agent and ask them about this company. If they are a scam company the agency may be familiar. You can always cross ref them with your BBB too.

I think common sense has to tell you that this is a scam. Let's face it, what company is going to take $99 from you, buy you a stay in a four star hotel, give you vouchers worth $300, and then give you back your $99. Simply by common sense inspection you have to realize that this cannot be true.

This event is going to be a weekend of torture, with enforced attendance of seminars (otherwise no goodies) on why you should become involved...kind of like having the phone ring constantly with telemarketers...I've heard it over and over again. My advice is not to waste your weekend...nothing is free! Even if they don't coerce you into every (sales) activity, believe me, the weekend will be sales, sales, sales!

I wouldn't believe ANYTHING until I knew it was legit. go to BBB.org and look up the company name. That will tell you whether they have a satisfactory record, or if they are even a real company. Be Careful!

almost all those things also require you to listen to some sales presentation that lasts for hours and you will be surrounded by sales pros who will spend the whole time trying to convince you to buy......pay for it yourself and relax.
