I am going to Vegas with my sister and my best friend. We will be arriving Wed Oct 18 and leaving on Sun Oct 22. I need help with an itinerary. I have been to Vegas once before and my sister and best friend have never been. There are soooo many things to do I can't wrap my head around anything long enough to decide on what to do. We want clubs, lounges, shopping, food etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am going to Las Vegas and I was wondering has anyone recently stayed at the Imperial Palace since it was renovated and how was the stay? Any specific details? The hotel claims it was renovated in 2006.

Whenever I go to Las Vegas, there are certain parts that have this horrendous smell. It's outside, and normally it's between hotels when you walk the strip, and sometimes the smell just comes up randomly! It's horrible when it smells AND it's scorching hot on your skin :(

Is the sewer beneath the city close to overflooding or something? WHAT IS THAT SMELL?! And though this has been going on for years, is the city trying to do something about it?

I'm 30 and attractive, but not gorgeous. Everyone I've talked to makes it sound like Vegas is crammed with gaggles of incredibly hot twentysomething girls. I'm going clubbing with some guy friends who tend to like to do the VIP thing. Am I going to feel like the ugly duckling all night?

Hi, getting married in Vegas, just been on this website, their package looks pretty good, Has anyone been here before that can give me some info on it. We are going to have approx 30-35 guests. Or can anyone reccommend anywhere else for wedding reception that's cozy and intimate. Thanks!

I think Las Vegas is the world's biggest rip-off for the following reasons:
1.) Everything is cleverly disguised to take your money, and lots
of it. The casinos themselves are giant hoover vacuums
for the sole purpose of seperating you from your money. Only
seniors, and mind-numbed seniors at that, could possibly find
1000's of slots ringing in the Key of C at the same time entertaining.
2.) The shows are way overpriced. Get real! $100 a ticket is
normal now everywhere. Sigfried and Roy were the first to
charge$100, now everything's $100+.
3.)The food is way overpriced. Didn't it seem like yesterday
when food specials(SURF AND TURF $7.99) were everywhere?
Now you have to be rich as emeril to buy a burger!
4.) Every major resort is essentially a giant shopping mall,.
disguised as a theme(forum shops, venetian, wynn's, NYNY,
etc.), with a thrill ride attached. You can get the same visceral
thrill by walking around the Mall of America
5.)Airport slots,to suck whats left

I will have a living allowance of 500/mo. from my student loan to help w/ rent, so I'd like to keep it to about 700/mo. rent so I can work part time, go to culinary school and still get by.Help? Suggestions? Ideas? Looked alot online but I don't know what areas are safe/dangerous, nice/slums, etc... any help greatly appreciated. Thanx!

What place is more "manufactured experience"? What I mean by
that is patently fake and absurd "re-creations", like Epcots "World
Showplace" with fake facades, "natives" dancing in costumes that
people don't wear in the real countries(I don't think people go to
work in Munich dressed in Lederhosen, DW's Animal Kingdom,
with "habitats" so unreal that countless animals have died in them
(african habitats with artificial grass and trees), or how about Vegas, and the recreations of the Eiffel Tower, Venice, NY skyline,
The Pyramids, Castles, the wild west, and ancient rome, just for starters?
Is it more than a coincidence that these two, most artificial cities
in the US, are the two top tourist draws in the US as well? Should
we face the fact that tourists want manufactured experiences
over any real wonder of the real world? Do tourists prefer an IMAX
version of Germany, or people prancing around in lederhosen, to the real thing? Which city is more phony, VEGAS OR ORLANDO?

I'm looking for some suggestions for places to eat. Obviously there are a million of them in Vegas...so I guess that I'm looking for someone who has been there quite a few times to help me out. I'd like a couple of options for:

Best Buffet
Nice Restaurant (within reason on cost)
Best Fun/party type restaurant
A decent but cheap place to eat
