Good apartments in Vegas cost over $1,000 per month. The only way to get one for that price is to find a total dump of a studio apartment that gets robbed all the time, or find two room mates and split the cost of a $1,500 apartment.

Yea, try downtown. You're most likely to live next to hookers and junkies. A nice apartment will run between $750-1150 depending on how many rooms. I used to live in black mountain and was paying $850 for a 2 bath 2 bedroom place.

You won't find much of anything worthwhile for that price. You might get a studio near UNLV, or some other scary area, but that's it.
The cheaper end of the nice places I've found is around $850 or so.

No, I live in a safe, but very blue collar, ethnically mixed neighborhood and I pay $700 (and that's only because I've been there six years and I'm "grandfathered" in on my lease). $500 will get you a roach motel in a very bad area.
Most nicer apartments are in the $900+ range now.

They will give you $100.00 if you find a apt thru them on that website. Have printer ready, to print confirmation.
