I am going to Las Vegas and I was wondering has anyone recently stayed at the Imperial Palace since it was renovated and how was the stay? Any specific details? The hotel claims it was renovated in 2006.

i stayed in the Imperial Palace on July 7 and it was okay! the elevators was VERY SLOW! I personally would not stay their again, the entertainment was OK, they has Elvis, dolly pardon, and people like that, that sang and stuff, the rooms was clean and OK. The only thing that i liked was that it was in a great location ! Hope that i was a help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the imperial palace is ok. it is definitely in a great spot right in the middle of the new part of the strip. the rooms are clean, but i didn't think it looked much different than the last time i was there. i agree with the other person. the elevators were extremely slow. if you are going to only sleep in your hotel, then it is great for that. but, if you want things to do at your hotel, then i would stay somewhere else. aladdin, new york, and harrah's are all pretty inexpensive with the extra things to do.

Great property to stay in for budget minded travelers because of it's location and price. There are cheaper or similarly priced properties on the strip, but they are located at either end. Who cares if the elevator is slow..... They have an entertaining karaoke bar up front..... The monorail station is also right behind that hotel.

Go to Expedia.com and you can read reviews of their customers that actually stayed there. Personally I thought the place looked like a dump when I saw it a few weeks ago. Nothing about the look of it made me want to go there or go inside.

Slighty seedy and casino leaves much to be desired. Also the enterance is a nightmare
