We're going to be in Las Vegas for four days. I'd love to see Bryce Canyon, but we don't want to drive. This tour sounds really nice, has anyone tried it?

I have not taken the bus tour, but I have driven to and through both parks in one day. If all you want to do is see some sights in each park, with stops at overlooks, the bus tour will probably be good. In Bryce there are many overlooks and you see as much as you will want from the stops. Zion is really a drive through park with one part that only Park Service Tour busses can access. SO if the tour drops you at Zion for a couple hours, that should be sufficient for you to see the normal stuff, minus hiking.

When I did both parks I drove there from the Grand Canyon and went to Bryce first, spent the morning driving all of it, taking pictures, then drove to Zion for the afternoon, left there about 5:00PM and was in Vegas by 7:30 PM.

I have to agree with john Q i went out west just this june and stayed for 8 days 2 days in Vegas fly in and fly out and drove all of southern utah starting with Zion an ending with Arches. If you can get another day rent a car and and do the drive. The mandatory bus tour of Zion is INFURIATING. Not enough time for you to sit enjoy walk bask and drool at all the beautiful colors and scenery. We had to do the bus tour cos' if you dont stay at the mountain lodge you can drive beyond a certain point.

One day only? You are joking, aren't you?
I could spend a month in Bryce Canyon.
Never been to Zion, but it is supposedly even more spectacular.
Or do you just want to get your ticket punched so you can say that you have been there.
