I've tried all the discount sites...Orbitz, CheapTickets, Travelocity, Priceline, Hotwire, etc. Willing to fly out of the following airports: ILM, RDU, MYR. Any good tips on cheap airfare? I can't seem to find anything under $300!

I'm 21, and am going out to vegas in mid march... I was wondering what would be the best hotel for the value, or if their are any promo codes to any of the hotel/casinos out there? I have been out there before, and I know of the hotels to be avoided (sahara, circus circus, stratosphere). Me and my roommate are just looking to save some cash where we can. Any help would be great. Thanks

We've finally decided on where we're going for Christmas - Vegas! Bc it will be cold and windy and we won't be renting a car, I just want to make sure we are staying near all the action--inexpensive shows and restaurants and stuff. So should we stay downtown or on the strip, or is there not really a difference? I know some casinos have free shuttles, but if we don't stay at one of those places, what's the next best transportation mode around downtown, the strip, and between the two? (We'd rather not walk in the cold!)
Also, do you recommend any dance clubs, and how can we get free or cheap admission?
Are there any reasonably priced hotels with hot tub rooms? So far I've looked into the Golden Nugget, which fits those specifications. Any others?

I live in Hawaii but I have the opportunity to move to vegas and work at a hotel for a free room. I have never been to vegas and I do not know anyone there. I have to sides to my personality, I like to stay away from people who do drugs and alcohol because I get caught up in peer pressure but I naturally like to stay extremely healthy and care about who I associate with. I feel like vegas might ruin my life if I go there. But I have no money so should I stay in hawaii and work at a organic farm for free rent? Should I go to vegas to party or live off nature in Hawaii?

I'm moving to Las Vegas for work and I don't know anything about the city. Is the area of Las Vegas Blvd. and E. Tropicana a really bad neighborhood for a single 22 year old female? I'm sure it isn't the best neighborhood judging from the cost of apartments, but would I be afraid to go out in the parking lot at night or to leave my Aveo in the area?
