Here being Las Vegas, and Bakersfield is in the middle of California. You can take it to mean that, from here to halfway through the next state. You think they would reference Barstow.

Resident of Bakersfield, California. Visiting Vegas for new years and at end of Feb.

Depends on how speed of driving, can get there with in 4 to 5 hours.

Merge onto CA-99 S toward L.A

Merg onto CA-58 E toward TEHACHAPI / MOJAVE. as right goes to stockdale/brundage hwy.

Merge onto I-15 N via the exit on the LEFT toward LAS VEGAS (Crossing into NEVADA).

Merge onto I-515 S / US-93 S / US-95 S via EXIT 42B toward PHOENIX / DOWNTOWN LV.

Take the LAS VEGAS BLVD. exit- EXIT 75A- toward CASHMAN FIELD.

Turn LEFT onto N LAS VEGAS BLVD / NV-604.

Turn RIGHT onto E BONANZA RD. <0.1 miles Map

End at Las Vegas, NV US

I assume that it is a long distance, so it coveres everything in between that happens
