To avoid the confusion, I am not planning on using it in the hotel casino and the fake has my name, my picture and information on it and it will match the information on my credit card that I am using. Do they usually scan ID's at hotels or just eyeball them. The hotel specifically I am talking about is probably going to be Mandalay Bay if that helps.

Is there any public transportation (bus, shuttle) passing by The Orleans hotel in Las Vegas (to the Strip)?
I am checking on the hotel. the price of the hotel is ok (considering it is late to book a hotel for Christmas now). Just wondering whether we can get any bus or shuttle back hotel from the strip if tired of walking.

I will be traveling to Las Vegas is February with a bunch of friends. We have not booked our hotel room yet and I just wanted to get some opinions on the best place to stay near the strip for around $100 per night per room. It looks like the Stratosphere is the only big hotel "on" the strip for that price. So I was wondering if there were any nice small hotels (with or without casinos) near the strip, but relatively inexpensive. Thanks.

I'll be staying at Mandalay Bay for New Year's Eve, but plan on doing our festivities at the Palms. I went to Vegas a couple years ago for NYE, and the town was completely gridlocked in traffic. My question is, are there side streets (not the Strip) from Mandalay to get to the Palms via taxi?

Three of my favorite shows take place in Las Vegas. Can anyone tell me if and when they actually do the fliming. The shows are "CSI", "Las Vegas", and Criss Angel Mindfreak. I heard that the only one that is actually done in Vegas is Mindfreak.

My sister, My friend and myself are coming to vegas at the end December to Jan 5. We are african american women and wanting know some things to do off and on the strip. Would like to know about male dancers, where are all the hot spots off the strip. The best places to shop. Just give us a little we really don't have anything planned just wanting to get an idea about the city. Free stuff. Most go places anything will help thanks.

I wanted to rent a hotel at Mandalay Bay, but they seemed to need some kind of deposit (standard deposit) I didn't want to charge my card before I found out what their standard deposit meant. It states:

"Standard deposits are calculated based upon your first nights rate plus 9% room tax. Note this may differ from your average nightly rate.Deposits are refundable if you cancel within your cancellation window."

The price was $119.89

I'm not sure if I should book the room yet, before getting charged for something I'm not quite sure of. Please answer as soon as possible because the rooms are getting pricier near X-mas. Thanks!

I'm trying to make a reservation with Amtrak for my train trip to Vegas, but the only reservation they got for me is a trip on the bus ( which I don't prefer) Besides Amtrak which other site can I make a train reservation with? What is the name of the train station in Las vegas? Do you know the address of the station?
