Depending on the weather where you live, the weather in Vegas can seem very nice. We will be in the upper 50's but in the desert the temperatures drop remardedly after the sun goes down. Our winter is more wind that adds to the lower temperatures. So realize you may wear light clothing during the day but will need at least a sweater or light jacked (not snow jacket) in February. Infrequently we actually get a dust of snow in the valley, i.e., Strip, in February.

It's generally the coldest month of the year. Daytime temps will be in the upper forties to mid-fifties, dipping down into the low 30s or lower at night. Just before Valentine's Day we have a "Siberian Express" come through. That's a north wind coming from the Gulf of Alaska which cools things down and turns into dry winds the other side of the Sierra Nevada range going into California.
