My sister, My friend and myself are coming to vegas at the end December to Jan 5. We are african american women and wanting know some things to do off and on the strip. Would like to know about male dancers, where are all the hot spots off the strip. The best places to shop. Just give us a little we really don't have anything planned just wanting to get an idea about the city. Free stuff. Most go places anything will help thanks.

Free Stuff and Vegas don't really go together. I never got out of Vegas Party Week without dropping at least 6 K. Anyways, New Yrs is always busy and poppin. You won't help but find something to do. There will be a little book in the cab you take from the airport to the hotel and it will list all the stuff going on. If you ask your cabbie he will give you ideas but only to the clubs and events that pay him to bring you. A good get going party is the Casino area at the Hard Rock, its usually a young pretty crowd and there are a few good clubs there as well. If you make friends and ask around people will tell you whats hot. If all else fells, get a limo and ask your driver for a VIP host. This will cost you money and you will have to tip you host heavily but you wont have to wait in line anywhere and he/she will get you to the hot spots!

What isn't there to do in Vegas on New Years? I believe, Jay Z and Beyonce will have a New Years bash at the grand opening of his new club here - for starters.. Not a whole lot of free stuff but if you get in(you will have to pay) to a new years dinner sponsored by the local hotels/casinos you get fed pretty good and they do give out favors but nothing too exciting. The New York, New York was really fun last year too. Just get here and go from there...its always a party here.

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
Here is a list of free attractions

Just make sure you ladies visit the Bellagio fountains and Fremont street at night.

As far as food is concerned, Vegas has the best. Just visit the buffets and seriously pig out.
