Is there any public transportation (bus, shuttle) passing by The Orleans hotel in Las Vegas (to the Strip)?
I am checking on the hotel. the price of the hotel is ok (considering it is late to book a hotel for Christmas now). Just wondering whether we can get any bus or shuttle back hotel from the strip if tired of walking.
Thanks.

Yes, you have your choice of the city bus or the Orleans shuttle, for transportation to and from the strip.

All LV Public transportation

CAT/Deuce bus
http://www.rtcsnv.com
$2.50 for a 24hr CAT pass + an extra .50c if you use the Deuce(strip bus) $3 total. The 24hr pass is $5 if you buy it on the Deuce(this is called fleecing the tourist)

The #201 West Tropicana bus stops right in front of the Orleans

The Orleans has a free shuttle that runs to Bill's Gamblin Hall which is in the middle of the strip. The Orleans also runs a shuttle over to the Gold Coast, you can walk across the street to the Palms & Rio from the GC.

If you travel light(carry on luggage only) you can catch the bus from the airport to the Orleans, at "Ground Level Transportation 0" - Take the #108 Paradise or #109 Maryland Pkwy North bus, then transfer to the #201 W Tropicana. >$2.50 for the 24hr pass<

>>Tired of walking<< You would not want to walk to or from the strip and the Orleans. Use the bus or shuttle.

"Hint" you might take a look at the Gold Coast

It's not quite as nice as the Orleans, but if you like to stay out late, the Palms & Rio have free shuttles to and from the strip as well, and they run as late as 4am. Plus the Gold Coast shuttle runs more frequently than the Orleans.

The #202 W Flamingo bus stops by the Gold Coast.

There is a public bus system and I believe the Orleans may have a shuttle to the strip. Orleans is a very nice "local" casino and a great buffet.

CAT Line #201(Tropicana Avenue). Runs 24/7. Fare is $2.50 for an all-day pass (except for use on the Strip route). If you want to use the Strip bus as well, the fare is $5.00 for an all-day pass.
