Hi My mom and dad are going to be in Houston the first part of feb. My dad is getting treatment at the cancer center there. The last time they where there they stayed at the Howerd Jonhson But I know they wanted to find something that had a kiten in it. (not just the icebox and micorwave) They will be there for about two monthes and although they have money to spend on a room they need to wacth how much so nice but not 100.00 a night nice. some thing close to the Anderson cancer cencer( I think I have the name right) This would help me alot. Oh and any place for them to go they injoy history and my mom love farmer markets But I know it will be to cold for that ( if the weather keeps acting like this!)Any help would be great. I need real help here my dad is dealing with cancer and needs help with info. not " they can go to a bar "

Why is everyone here in Houston and all the rest of Texas freaking out about the wheather? I don't see the big deal with this wheather cause other parts of the country deal with this kind of wheather everyday, and to see the schools canceled kind of make me laugh due to the fact that where I am from they don't cancel school even when there is snow and freezing rain you still go to school and work.

I visited Oklahoma for about 2 months in 2000 and lived near Oklahoma City University and I was fine. It is dead but the cost of living is so cheap. Houston is getting overly crowded and I want a change. I am pregnant and have a certain amount that must last a certain amount of time, I think I may be better off in Oklahoma City. I would like to know of some decent areas of town to live in that are not too expensive.

Boyfriend is relocating to Houston, Texas. I agreed to move away from my beloved Georgia swampland with my mate. What can I expect? I've heard so many horror stories about Houston and my (grown) son fears for my safety. [Is it that bad].
