It depends,if your in Brownsville Texas you can go to the beach and meat interesting people.Most of Texas is very hot and dried,Brownsville,Texas is near the ocean also next to the Gulf of Mexico,,just to show you that south east Texas has a beach.I'm not from Texas,I'm from New York,explaining what there is to do in south east Texas is hard to explain,but I can tell you one thing,it's like going on a weekend vacation to Cancun,Mexico which is where many many America and Canadian go surfers go to have fun
Experience it for yourself.

Are you near Kemah? Kemah has a boardwalk that is just really awesome! They have rides, shops, restaurants and fireworks at night. It's called Kemah Boardwalk.

Go and eat in Refugio Texas...there's an "Aunt ...." and the food was terrific.
There's only one other restaurant in twon, and it was a taco one, so "Aunt whatever her name was" will be easy to find.

shopping, movies, beach, swimming, hangin outside, hangin with friends, ridin around, clubbin, etc. Not hard to find something to do in Houston!!!
