Does anybody know where I can find good/cheap tickets to the rodeo? I know most tickets are bought by companies, do they sell any online?

you can buy the tickets through ticketmaster...you can also try to win them through the radio

The rodeo tickets can be bought at the Reliant box office. They are cheap. About $16. This gets you into the rodeo and whatever entertainer is playing that night. However, for the really big names,they tend to sell out quickly. Check the Houston Rodeo web site for purchase on line. Be aware though, there seems to more information about the entertainers than the rodeo itself. I live here in Houston, and if you are strictly a rodeo fan you will be hard pressed to find out specifics, such as what time the barrels start, or when the livestock show begins, and the order of classes.

Companies do buy blocks of tickets but the Rodeo makes a effort to offer plenty of tickets to the public. The problem in buy them is that the big acts usually sell out in the first day. I believe George Straight sold out in 15 minutes.
