I have a client of my concierge business for husbands, By Husbands For Husbands (www.byhusbandsforhusbands.com), who will be celebrating his anniversary in Honolulu. I would like to recommend a great spot for he and his wife to listen to music and dance.

I've only been to Honalulu and don't think I could handle the traffic. Last year we stayed in Kona on the Big Island and loved it. Something with the same feel would be great. Travelling with old mother and 2 teenage girls.

A couple of years ago I visited The Big Island. We stayed in a cabin on a fruit plantation in Hilo, near Pahoa. In that vicinity we snorkeled off a grouping of lava flows which at high tide captured large fish, sea turtles and eels. That location was close to homes and I remember we parked the car on the street. There was a street sign designating the area as an ecological project. I'm going back this summer. Can someone remind me how to get there?

The staff on the whalewatching tour had this CD playing, and one of the songs had the lyrics "ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-Haleakala". The song totally cracked us up. Can't find it anywhere, though! Any hints for tracking it down?
