I love Luau, tried it in every island. I suggest you visit these place on OAHU:
POLYNESIAN CULTURE CENTER (Ali'i Lu'au), all day fun and the best night Luau on the Island with all night Hula, Tahitian Dance, and Fire Dance. You'll think you visit 6-8 different Island (Fiji, marques, Tonga, Samoa...and few more) when you enter the place.
KEO'S. KEONI'S, and SINGHA serve the best Thai dishes, MATTHEO's for Italian dining,
STAR OF HONOLULU for sunset and cruise dinning.
If you loved Sushi, make sure not to miss TODAI.
For American dining, steaks and seafood try YARD HOUSE RESTAURANT.

ON MAUI:
I know they have 3 or more place for Luau, I went to WAILEA SUNSET LUAU (great experience).

Pineapple Grill on Maui serves Fantastic food.
HAKONE for Sushi
Cheeseburger, Mai Tais and Rock 'n' Roll in the shop of Wailea won't regret it!!!!
Can't miss ROY'S either.

House to the State Capitol, Honolulu could be the lively epicentre of Hawaii and a city worth visit, like you might find with hotelbye . In Honolulu you'll find every thing from historic landmarks and cherished monuments to world-class shopping and a flourishing arts and tradition scene. House to nearly all Oahu's populace, the vast city of Honolulu advances through the south-eastern shores of Oahu, from Pearl Harbor to Makapuu Point, encompassing earth famous Waikiki. Pearl Harbor is among Honolulu's biggest tourist attractions. Although it is home to the Navy's Pacific Fleet, guests may have a visit to begin to see the USS Arizona Memorial, and the USS Missouri.

theres some great little places in Kihei (think i spelled that wrong), if you look around.... Wailea has some AWESOME resturants but they're expensive.... over in Lahaina, Hard Rock is great and so is Bubba Gumps but the best places to go would be the smaller places. Maui Taco is really good. Up in Kapalua theres a really good Italian-esque resturant, I think its called Tapa but I could be wrong and a really good sushi place that I can't remember what its called. Hope this helps!

The Best fine dining places in Oahu:
3660 on the Rise (Honolulu)
Chef Mavro (Honolulu)
Longhi's at Ala Moana Mall (Honolulu)
Sansei Sushi (in Honolulu and there's one on Maui also)
Best fine dining in Maui:
Plantation House (Kapalua Resort)
Prices are a bit steep, but all these places are worth it!

Roy's in Kihei, Maui.

By far the best restaurant on the island, even better than Mama's Fish House in Paia.

Have fun!!
