Hi,

You dont say which Island you are going to so I will assume its Oahu...

There a dozens of options for a tour, when you get to your hotel there will be loads of leaflets and information in the lobby.

I did one but I was disappointed in it, so check carefully where they go and how long you stay at any of the stops,

My suggestion would be to pinpoint the places you want to see and take The Bus, its excellent value, clean and air conditioned. That way you have total control over where you go and if you want to stay longer you can, there is no where on the island that The Bus does not go. My parents are in their 80's and they went all over the place, including round the Island twice by using the bus.

You can pick up a timetable from any ABC store, and the timetable doubles as a little guide book as well with loads of info...

In fact the only tour I would recommend is The Trolley, that is great fun.. and again you can get on and off wherever you want.

Robert's Hawaii has lots of tours you can choose from. I've taken many of them, and they are always worth it. I usually take the circle island tour the first or second day I'm there, then go back to the areas I saw on the tour that I felt I wanted to spend more time at. This way, they do the driving, I do the touring, and can easily decide where to go for the rest of my trip.
