Is there any kind of shuttle transportation between those 2 airports and London? Trains for example? How long does the trip by train/car take to get to town?

Hi,

I was wondering about my options to get to/from Gatwick - London (staying across from Baker st. underground station).

We (2 travelers) arrive at Gatwick midweek at 8am so I suppose we would be on our way by 9-10 am.

We depart midweek at 2pm so we would aim for a noon arrival at Gatwick.

Travel will be the last half of May. Since we will be attending a wedding in addition to sightseeing London/Cambridge for a fortnight we won't be traveling very light :( so short non-arduous changes of bus/trains/car/underground are desirable. I am looking to avoid lugging 5 mins. walking up/down lots of stairs etc.

I'm looking to start at the Leeds met university in September 2007, i have had my doubts as it is very far away. Something else I'm concerned about is racism; as i have heard there are many many (so called) Chavs in Leeds. although many have told me that it is a 24 hour city and is reasonable safe, is it safe for Asians (more specifically indians).

Having said this i my self live in W-ton and have many white friends who are all friendly people and enjoy having a laugh together.

I went to St Martins school and St Patricks before that. I went back to Liverpool about 12yrs ago and discovered that St Martins girls school had been pulled down. Can anybody tell me why. Also is there anybody out ther who remembers me. My name was Ann Mc Burney when I left in 1971. My classmates were Ann Redmond, Catherine Gallagher, Bernadete Ackpan, Maureen Lawler, Barbara Fisher. I have tried friends reunited and wayn but to no avail.
Hope someone can help
