Park in the St Johns multi storey and when you leave show your theatre ticket to the man in the booth and you get discount.

There is an NCP car park in Lord Nelson Street which is the road at the side of the Empire, its much nearer. No Parking controls last all the time in Liverpool and dont end at 7-00pm like other cities. Its a terrible place to park now.

I always park outside the Museum which is across the road from the Empire or right next door in the multi-storey above Lime Street Station

The carparks suggested are great but if i were you id get the train, Lime Street station is practically on top of the Empire theatre. then you can check out Liverpools nightlife.

there's a massive free car park just outside the Liverpool Marina bar which is probably 10 mins walk from your hotel Mariers wharf. (I'm presuming you're staying at one of the ones on Wapping or the Strand It says - marina bar customers and berth holders only but nobody ever checks at all. It's fairly safe too (but dont leave anything on display obviously)
