I feel like the only one and I have no one to go to the pub to watch the games or go to the matches with, I might try and get a load of us together in some form of supporters club to go watch the games etc etc.

Do any of you know of a cheapish spa breaks in the South east UK, my cash limit is about £150 for 2 nights and its for one person only. Its for my mother for mothers day. She lives in East Anglia and would like to go around the end of March - early April. She will pay for the treatments separately! Thanks in advance people! (",)

It seems to be acceptable these days that people get onto public transport with sniffling noses and go through their whole journey sniffling.
This is a most DISGUSTING habit.
This whole week alone, every single time I sat on the tube someone sat next to me for atleast 10mins sniffling their nose.
I think if you can afford to travel by public transport, sure enough u can afford to wipe yr nose?

So my idea is to carry a roll of toilet paper with me into the tube carriage and everytime someone sits next to me with a sniffling nose - I give them a HUGE piece of the toilet roll (accompanied by a huge fuss). Surely this will embarass the person into next time having a tissue handy and wiping their nose instead of sniffling, right?

What do u think?

I recentley received a fine at London Bridge station for not purchasing a ticket, you cannot use a oyster card at this station, and the ticket officer said that I will need to pay off a fine, and it will either have to be done by postal cheque to the Revenue Protection Support Services or at any Southern Ticket office- does anyone know any central Southern ticket offices or preferably any that are near Neasden Station/ Jubilee Line? P.S I do not want to send a postal cheque as I do not have a cheque book and if I told anyone in my family I got issued with a £20 fine, they would hit the roof.....Thank You

I'm from New York City, there for a wedding. The wedding is near Bakewell. I'm a huge English history buff. I know I have to go to Chatsworth and definately Eyam, as well. Anything else that's a must see? Also, I love traditional English pubs - any that are a must?
