I'm from New York City, there for a wedding. The wedding is near Bakewell. I'm a huge English history buff. I know I have to go to Chatsworth and definately Eyam, as well. Anything else that's a must see? Also, I love traditional English pubs - any that are a must?

Get yourself into Sheffield, and check out the THE FAT CAT (On Alama Street) Real Ale Pub(Very Traditional).

Also may want to check out Castleton and Visit the Cavern there!(One Cavern is visited by Underground Boat), this one is at the Base of Winnats Pass.
The other cavern is Called the Devils Ar$ehole, this one is about 10 minutes walk back into Castleton.
In Castleton you will find The Bulls Head Public House, where you can try a Pint of OLD TOM (Strong Real Ale), certainly will make your Nipples Spin!

Have a Good Trip!!
The Peak District is the Best part of the UK!!
