Summer is from the Summer Solstice in June to the Autumnal Equinox in September. July and August are the main summer months when most people in Europe have their summer vacations.

British Summer Time (GMT + 1) begins at 1am on March 25th this year and runs until October.

The rest of Europe usually change their clocks at around about the same time, although it can be a week or two different on occasions.

The warmest weather is from June to September... uncannily like the northern states of the US which just happen to be in the same hemisphere as the UK.

the official first day of Spring is March 21st, however it doesnt really get properly warm here in England until the end of April. Even then there is a lot of rain! June/July/August are the summer months really.

The sea will never get warm enough to swim in.
I doubt you'll ever need the air conditioning you get in cars nowadays either.
