Even if it DOES rain whilst you're there, it's only going to be ordinary rain - it won't be a tropical monsoon, so ordinary rainwear should do.

It's usually wise to carry an umbrella in Glasgow as it rains a lot. I don't think you'd need special clothing, it's not usually that bad, although it can be heavy at times (and today there were some hailstones...).

The weather here is very unpredictable, but always wise to carry a brolly just in case! It's been raining on and off all day. You think it's going to pick up cause the sun starts to shine but then the rain starts again!

weather front coming in over the weekend.possibly snow. so you will need your thermals too. I don't think you need anything more than a decent warm raincoat and some sensible shoes though...
