would like to witness some kind of bird talking (i.e. parrot, mynah bird etc). tried asking this question before on y! answers already and got answers like "go to a zoo" and "try a pet shop". clearly, these aren't very helpful - anyone know of a specific place? or even a specific bird?

A few weeks ago the driver announced over the telecom 'To the man who just got on at the back of the train, causing the doors to reopen cos he got on as they were closing, therefore delaying the tube and possibly making you all late for work, dont try and be a hero mate, you just look like a tw*t!'
Anyone heard any funnier ones?

I have been advised by my employers that I am to work in Cardiff for a week and I will be flying from Glasgow a week on sunday. I dont want to be refused on a flight, I havent flown for more that 10 years and I was unaware that I needed a passport to travel in UK. I am a UK citizen. Hope you can advise me. Many Thanks

Preferably less than £70 a night (for 2 nights in November). Checking the accommodation websites is driving me nuts - even with broadband. Most rooms for single occupancy either have shared toilet/shower (sorry, not for me) or cost an arm and a leg. The flight from Ireland and course attendance are dear enough as it is. Anyone found a gem please?

We visited York earlier this year and enjoyed it so much we're going back in 4 weeks time for a long weekend. Last time we visited Eden Camp, York Museum, Jorvik and the City walls and shopping area.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or recomendations for 2 adults with 2 children (10&8yrs).

Sensible answers please, unless they are really, I mean really funny!
