of course you've forgotten something, but don't worry, even if you start looking now, you'll only notice it when you get to your destination

and, as someone else already said...you have far too many clothes packed, you'll come home with half of it unworn

enjoy your holiday though

so long as you have tickets/passports that you need the rest doesn't matter. You will find that at least 75% of what you packed won't get used, and the smallest thing you didn't pack will be the thing you need.

Put a little extra cash ready and be prepared to spend it, but most of all relax and have a lovely time.

And you never even told us where you are going and what "family" consists of

I often forget toothbrush, hair brush and toothpaste (i.e. if it's a morning flight the things I can't pack the night before!). Also if you intend to send any post cards remember to write down addresses. Phrase book for which ever country your going to (By now I have 'A beer please.' in just about every European language memorised haha). And a couple of books and puzzle books. I only took one novel with me last time, when I finished it I borrowed one of the hotels, but only got halfway through and haven't got round to buying/borrowing it yet....really frustrating! Also first aid kit with anti histamines, plasters, pain killers, laxative, anti diarrhoea etc... Oh and sun glasses!! Also insect repellent.

Have a fun time :)

Make sure you bring lots of snacks and games for the kids. It will keep them occupied ...."are weeeee theeeer yeeet?" will not be on the agenda if you're well prepared! Bring them to a book store today and let them each pick out a book for the trip..hide it away till the day of the trip, then they'll be excited! good luck and have fun!

Make sure you have wet wipes and tissue - sweets to chew, water (unless you off on a plane of course). magazines, games e.t.c to keep the kids entertained. Cd's bug spray, but repellent, which doctor gel or spray for bites, burns, headaches. Headache pills, a pot of Andrews for icky belies.
flip flops, trainers, cardis, hair bands, hair brushes, books.

There is a list of things i usually forget.

Have a good holiday

Ah bless! First family holiday! What does it matter if you do forget something - you will always be able to either buy it at your destination, improvise, or simply do without - life's too short. Have a great one babe!!

i am sure that u r bound to forget something, but it wont matter cos as long as u have the essentials anything else u can buy. The most important thing is to enjoy your first family holiday, dont waste energy getting stressed out..........go, chill and enjoy.....:)
