i bought a round trip ticket for someone residing in london, now they claim the uk immigration authorities will not clear her to board the flight unless she can show 1000 pounds basic travel allowance, is there any truth to this? she claims to have valid passport and british citizenship

Hello,
I'm going to be an exchange student next year at the University of Warwick and am very interested and curious what the city of Warwickshire and the surrounding areas are like, also the university itself, the people, the food, and pretty much everything associated with the place. I've lived in Southern California all my life (majority of my time in Los Angeles) so I'm expecting a lot of major changes but am just excited to be going to England next year as a young student. Any insider comments, helpful tips and such? Give me a heads up. Thanks!

We are travelling to London with a 2-year-old and are wondering if we will need his car seat. The airline provides a special seat for him and we won't be renting a car. I think we'll mostly be travelling by The Tube but we might need to take a taxi or a shuttle now and then. Has anyone else travelled with a toddler to London? Did you take your car seat? Do have any other advice about travelling with a toddler? Thanks.

My mum wants to know a nice area that she should look to buy a property in West Sussex. Shes been promoted and has to relocate there, and wants a nice clean safe small town to live in. Good access to Tesco/Marks&Spencer and easily accesible.
