Bembridge or Ventnor are both lovely places. If you're more the candyfloss and screaming kids type then Sandown will probably be more suitable. Try the Isle of Wight tourist information centre, they should be able to send you a brochure.

A nice place, there a few weeks ago. You need a car, the bus service is not very good and the taxis are expensive.
The island will be getting quite full about now with holiday makers.

You wont have much luck finding it on the net if you are spelling it like that!!
But why bother it's a dump of a place!!

Shanklin and Sandown are always good places to go, but also consider Yarmouth,which is beautiful.
