I'm very poor & live in the US really would love to travel & get a job traveling across Latin America. Is there any way I can get the money to do that? & I seep how people travel to Europe 3 times/yr. & are not even rich. How do they get the money to do that without working or getting a loan? Do they have any travel grants?

I do have a passport. & I live off of SSI & Social Security.

My son was born in the US and he is only 2 months old now. Can he fly with me to a foreign country without a passport? Is it sufficient to only show his birth certificate to the custom and to get his flight ticket?

Well, a few friends and I are deciding to go to a music venue soon and well we are all 17 but can't legally get a hotel/motel ourselves. Basically, we need a motel but due to us being minors we can't get a room, but is it true that I can't at all get a room unless I am of age and I have a legal aged person with me.

I was born in NC, Gastonia to be precise. And I never had a passport and looking forward on getting one real soon. What do I have to do to get one? Because I am planning on traveling. And how long would it take to get one here in Gastonia, NC?

i'm not really too keen on Europe so anywhere else would be good, but thats not too expensive, we're looking to go off peak season. We've been to New York and Orlando, so i'm trying to keep away from the states. Any help/ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi guys!

My boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere hot to go in Sept. and need inspiration! We are looking for:

> Beaches
> Lots of pubs and restaurants - maybe some clubs
> Things to do in the day - sightseeing / organised trips, etc!

Any suggestions for actual resorts / areas, rather than just general countries would be great! Thanks! xx Emmie

I plan to do RV-ing in California for as much as a couple of months. I want to stay mainly along the coastal areas, not much inland.

Since I've never done this before, I need tips on rentals, places to stay that are safe, clean and relatively inexpensive. Also, suggestions on areas that are scenic and quiet with things to see and do.

I am not into going into the "wilderness" and roughing it, I have a mild princess syndrome so that is out of the question!

Is it true in 2008 everyone that visits outside the US will now need a passport, even children under the age of 15?
When we went on our cruise two years ago, all we needed was a birth certificate.
My inlaws want to take us on a cruise somewhere, I think Mexico, but not sure where, in April 2008, and said we would need a passport.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciate.
How much do they run?

Pretty dirty, K-Mart on the main street downtown, not very civil, everyone is from Philly.. No one seemed to be from more than 100 miles away. Chicago and Boston are leaps and bounds ahead.

I would like to go backpacking and visit France (Paris and Marseille) Netherlands (Amsterdam) also Thailand and Australia (working holiday for the latter)

because of my meagre budget capabilities theres no way I will be doing this in one trip so it will be two trips with a lot of saving and working back at home in between.

I would like to know some advice for saving money and what is the lowest budget people have manged to do some decent travelling on?
