the thing is that i was missing some ducment, i send them ina month ago, not sure if they got it or lost in mail. i call them but they keep telling me that the system is down that they can do anything. is there any other way i can check besids online because they only tell me that my application is processing. i dont know what to do. anyone with idea i would try. please help!!!

If the website says your application is processing then they probably received it. You'll probably just have to wait until they get around to sending you a new one. It may be a while though, it's a government process after all and everyone knows how fast the government moves.

The passport office is terribly backlogged. More passports being applied for than they can handle.
No advice.
