Just planning a vacation this summer to Europe and was looking for advice on whether it is best to travel with a tour group or on our own and for any other addition advice. We have decided on an exact location but are looking at Paris and Rome. Thanks for any info!

my friend and i want to go away in the summer holidays to somewhere hot and interesting. We want to be able to lie on a beach but also go travelling around. We are bored of Greece and Europe etc and want to go somewhere diferent, see something diferent, meet people and eat different types of food.

we are looking around to book our holiday for this year, last may we went to butlins with the kids, then in september we went to egypt the kids enjoyed both holidays very much my question is should we take the kids back to butlins for a weeks holiday or should we take them abroad to majorca???

ps
cannot ask the kids as they are only 2 and 4 and wouldnt really know which to choose
so butlins in skegness or majorca???

My two friends and I would like to travel across.. the world pretty much, sounds naive but we are going everywhere, and I'd like to know if you have any advice... great places to see, cheap places to sleep, cheap rides.. how to pack for backpacking, youth hostels! any one whose travelled any advice will be great! Need recomendations for Virginia/Maryland area Country Inns and Bed and Breakfasts.

My boyfriend and I are planning on taking a vacation somewhere south (Bahamas, Caribbean, etc.) for a week on his spring break. We were thinking about taking a cruise but now I'm not so sure.
