New U.S. regulations state that now one has to provide a passport when flying to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and possibly other areas. Soon one will have to provide a passport to drive to Canada and Mexico as well. What will occur if one does not bring a passport? Will the other countries observe U.S. regulations and refuse to let U.S. citizens in? Or will the other countries let U.S. citizens in and we will have to deal with the problem at our border? If this is the case, will the U.S. refuse to let citizens back in if they can't provide a passport? Or is there some penalty, such as a fine? I am curious about how this will be implemented.

I am looking for a place with warm weather. I would also like the $100,000 to pay for a house and leave enough money start my own business (maybe a bed & breakfast). The whole idea is to get away from the north american day to day grind and have a simple relaxed life.

Before I head off to College I want to persue my dream of traveling. I have a few places in mind that I want to go, but I'm not sure if they will be worth it. Especially because I hate planes but I'm willing to take one to get there.
So here are a few of those places, where do you think I should go?
Australia
Greece
Spain
Italy
England

A fly travelling north at 5km/hr hits a train travelling south at 60km/hr. The fly and train are both now heading south at 60km/hr but to do that the fly must have gone 5,4,3,2,1,0,1,2,3.....60, so at some stage touching the train the fly was at 0 km/hr and so too must the train have been. Please explain is this true and why

Ok so don't think I'm lazy I've looked at all the normal sites (Expedia, Travelocity, Kayak) but I haven't found much. Does anyone know of any special deals for non-stop or 1 connection service from Oakland or San Francisco into New York (LGA, EWR, JFK)?

My family and I are going on vacation and will be staying in a hotel for about a week. I was wondering if they come in and clean your room even if you are not there? And will our stuff be safe in the room while we are gone? Ever had a cleaning person steal something of yours?

How long of a vacation do they get?! Seriously, try calling them 1-800-821-5438. Good thing they're not a monopoly on transatlantic travel.

I'm thinking about taking a mini trip to Orlando with my wife. I've seen numerous timeshares that give you 3 nights stay and free Universal tickets for listening to their 90 minute presentation. I've never done this before and I was wondering if it's worth it?
