We all know that Hollywood is in California, USA...If you reside outside the United States, you don't only need a passport to go to Hollywood; you also need to apply for a Visa from the American Embassy in your home country.
We all need a passport to go to a country other than our own. Better apply for one if you want to travel outside your country sooner or later. ;-)

That would all depend upon where you are traveling from. Are you in the United States now? Passports are not required to travel from state to state. This isn't the Soviet Union. You can freely cross any state border unimpeded.
There should not be any reason why you could not obtain a passport from the country in which you live unless it has been deemed a terrorist state by the State Department or if you are a convicted felon. So what's the problem? If you want to go to Hollywood then what is stopping you?

You defenitely can not pass countryborders, so you have to stay in your own country. But also travelling within you own country can be a problem in some countries. Sometimes you need to identify yourself (for example on plane trips), and in some countries only a passport is a valid ID.

You haven't said where you are.
If you're within the US you can travel by any method of transport, other than flying, without a passport.
If you're within Canada and you're Canadian, you may be able to cross the border by car with some ID other than a passport.

Its easy, first you have to make your way to Canada or Mexico. Then you can try and walk across the border where there are no people. Or you could smuggle yourself into the US in a cargo ship.(more risky) You usually can pay someone to get you into the US down in Mexico.
