Hi Ash, good morning every body !..
Well y'r question is a good one but a bit difficult to give you a satisfactory one, as every one will give his own opinion and from his point of view,as we are in general different in appreciating things.(main interests in travelling, your age, your budget;;etc..)
As far as my suggestion to you, i can propose the following countries :
- Italy :(Rome.sicily ) Roman history
-Malta (the life in the island)
-Tunisia ( The ancient and multi-cultural aspect.the sahara &
oasis experiences.)
- Libya ( the unspoiled & new destination )
- Egypt ( the marvels of the ancient egyptian remain )
- Morroco (authenticity & berber life )
- Spain ( the andalousian part of Spain.)
- Portugal ( the new fashon destination
I can suggest you more round trip combiations if you'll be more precise about your interrests.

There are so many great places around the world that they can't be listed. It all depends on what you feel like doing at the point in your life that you'll be taking that vacation. Peru - Incas mystic and beautiful
Equador - as above
Cook Islands - everyone does Australia
Vietnam - Fantastic culture and colourful
Cambodia - as above
Iraq - to visit family I have not yet met
Botswana - To do a camping safari with a local guide.
Cape Town again for som sun sand and extreamly good wine.
