My daughter age 29 will be driving her car from the east coast to the midwest in 1 day. How safe are the rest stops along the way and would you have her stop at restaurants and gas stations instead? When researching this question I noticed that there is a movie called "Rest Stop" Will this just add to the sickos all ready out there?

I have purchased ginger capsules, sea bands, dramamine, bonine and some anti-nausea pills. I want to be fully armed for my two week trip on a small boat. Did I mention that I get seasick in the worst way imaginable? I'm very anxious about this trip, we'll be in the Galapagos Islands. Are there any other remedies I should be armed with? I hate feeling drowsy.

Hi,
I'm travelling to Hong Kong in January and i'm wondering if it's safe to go by myself. If anyone has any experience of travelling alone (preferably females) in Hong Kong or surrounds i would like to hear about it. Also, is it safe to go out alone in Hong Kong at night?

Without abusing alcohol and/or Xanax? I've been flying ever since I can remember, but I became freakishly afraid of it like 3 years ago. And no, it didn't have anything to do with 9/11. I know it's unlikely that any particular plane will crash, but to imagine it happening is just too horrifying. And no one can really guarantee it won't happen... Help! I have to fly in a month and I don't want to go through the stress and panic attacks and pill-popping.

We are going to Lapland for a day with our young daughter, to see the man himself Santa. I have been told that we should bring oil based lip balm and moisturiser to protect from the cold. Has anyone got an good products they could recommend that we could use. As normaly I don't do the COLD weather thing and think it's a bit mad to pay to get my butt frozen off, rather than pay to soak up the sun. Though your only young once. Can anyone help please.
