xcaret eco park. beautifull and unspoilt nature reserve, swim in natural caverns in the sea, explore the mangroves or just laze away on an idilic beach.
swimming with dolphins in cancun is also excellent
the nightlife in cancun is amazing as are the beaches

I would guess that Chichen Itza would be the best tourist attraction as many people are fascinated by the history of the pyramids (like the Pyramids in Egypt would also be the best tourist attraction in Egypt).

If you want to visit a city: Mexico city and its surroundings.And Guanajuato, Taxco or Zacatecas with their colonial buildings.
If you want to go to the beach: Cancun or in Tulum is a beautiful beach which is my favorite called "El paraiso" they have a Beach club. In Puerto Vallarta people is very kind.
If you want to visit archaeological sites: Next to Cancun is Ek-Balam or Chichen Itza, Next to Mexico city is Teotihuacan, or in Chiapas is located Palenque.

Seeing turtles swimming in the wild on a boat trip, and then jumping in to swim with them.
I'm getting goose bumps thinking about it....
Thats better than any tourist attraction..

Cabo Dolphins, that's seeing, swimming, and fidgeting with dolphins! that's soooo lots relaxing and super for each age, even babies, the dolphins are so delicate and relaxing! Danity Kane and Day 26, from "Making the Band", went to Cabo Dolphins on their holiday to Mexico, that's super! verify it out! wish this facilitates:)

Mexico City.
It is one of the best place I have seen.
Cultural, music, museums and a very big zoo in the middle of the city.
Food is delicious and people are nice

Cancun beaches....Isla Mujures (think thats what its called) boat trip from Cancun to an island, snorkelling beautiful beach..real unspoilt by tourism island
